You-Pick Events at Raindance Farm Flowers in Whitmore Lake— August & September

Raindance Farm is a working flower farm just north of Ann Arbor, Michigan. Several times a year we open up our flower fields to the public for special you-pick events.

We have two acres of summer annuals in bloom in high summer— zinnias, cosmos, sunflowers, celosia, ageratum, marigolds, salvia, strawflower, gomphrena, amaranth, statice, snapdragons, etc.

We are also hosting one special dahlia-focused you-pick on Saturday 9/13. There may be other flowers in bloom alongside our 2,000 field dahlias in 50 different shades & forms.

Summer Morning You-Pick: Saturday, August 16th at 10am

Sunset You-Pick: Wednesday, August 20th at 7pm

Labor Day You-Pick: Monday, September 1st 6pm

Dahlia You-Pick: Saturday, September 13th at 6pm

And one extra community event— Pie Lovers Unite! Sunday, September 13th at 3pm

by Slow Food Huron Valley, a non-profit centered on strengthening local food and local economies

This is the 15th annual pie-lover event and the 4th year we have hosted it at our home farm at Raindance. This one does not involve many flowers or any you-picking, but it is great community party! Our daughter is a serious baker, and she takes pie baking for the kids’ contest very seriously. We are members of Slow Food Huron Valley, a non-profit that brings attention to strengthening local food systems and local economies.
